Your Website & The ADA – What to do now?
You need to do your best to make your site ADA compliant in 2019
1. Add ALT tags to all your images
2. Add plugins for text readability (ADA)
3. Do your best to make sure all your content is in a readable format (do not embed content in images)
4. Consult with your legal team to make sure you are doing the best you can to enable users of all abilities.
Need help? Just ask! We can install ADA plugins into most WP sites to make your site as compliant as possible under the new guidelines. Most installs/updates take less than 30 mins for WordPress websites. For HTML sites please email a request for a quote. Some older HTML sites can take 30-40 hours to make compliant, the conversion to new technology (WordPress) is a viable consideration to make the process more affordable.
